- June 14- Reach for the Sky: Incredible story true story of British WWII fighter pilot ace Douglas Bader who after losing his legs in an aircraft accident, went on to fight in the Battle of Britain.
- July 12- The Wings of Eagles: The story of Frank (Spig) Wead, Naval aviator turned screen writer and his involvement with the development of Naval Aviation.
- August 9- Flight Command: Young Navy Ensign (Robert Taylor) must provide himself in flight school prior to the start of WWII.
- September 13- Above and Beyond: Documentary on the forming of the Israeli Air Force in the late 1940’s.
- October 11- High Road to China: A spoiled heiress hires a tipsy pilot (Tom Seleck), and his side-kick to find her father in the 1920’s China.
- November 8- Forever Young: Fantasy about WWII pilot( Mel Gibson), gets involved in a suspended animation experiment that goes wrong and he is revived 53 years later.
- December 13- Toward the Unknown: Cold war drama about pilot and Korean War POW (William Holden) being assigned as a test pilot at Edwards Air force base.
